One of my biggest gripes with Madden the last few years has been the way defenders break on the ball, even when their heads are not facing the QB, and they are manned up on a different receiver. On this past Twitch stream, talking about Madden '21 game play mechanics (pre-launch), Clint Oldenburg mentions that they changed the way defensive players will break on the ball.
If this stays the same, the passing game will once again be dominant in Madden NFL, starting with Madden '21!
